Breast Implants Surgery Basics

When people are discontented with their appearance they usually fall back on plastic surgery. The same reasons are true for breast surgery. When women are in need  of changing the size of their breasts, either  making them bigger or smaller, they usually rely on breast surgery. But before undergoing breast implants surgery there are some aspects to take into consideration.

First of all, breast augmentation is forbidden for those who have mastopathy, hypertension, pancreatic diabetes and varicose veins. Also, those who have smoking addiction need to give it up not later than a month prior to a surgery. A patient-to-be needs to visit a bunch of doctors before a desirable operation. Among these doctors are a practitioner, a gynecologist, a breast physician, an oncology specialist, a phlebologist and an anesthesiologist. Some patients also need to visit a psychologist. If for any reasons at least one of the above-mentioned doctors has doubts as for your health you will be denied in breast implants surgery.

Secondly,  the patient should decide what type of breast implants is more suitable for him. There are two most popular types of breast implants used for breast augmentation: silicone implants and saline implants. The former is more natural to the touch, because silicone is dense; the latter is more harmless,  but at the same time it has can cause discomfort, because it is watery and can  produce gurgling sound while movement.

The next step is related to surgical details. The patient needs to choose the way and the place of  surgical intervention; whether the cut would be in the armpit area, by the breast, on the periphery of areola or close to a belly-button.

It is only for you to decide whether to have plastic surgery or not.
